I'm not sure about the title. The expression on her face makes it seem more like she is out of control than actually 'mastering' the elements.

I know of an artist named rofljay who also did a similar picture to this:

While his drawing had an art style more faithful to Avatar the Last Airbender, your picture has a lot more detail to it as all that energy seems to chaotically swirl around Twilight out of control. It reminds me of Korra when she was poisoned, all pent up with anger and out of control power.

Although they are both so epic, I did enjoy the previous one more. This is mainly due to Twilight looking more godly and less equine (human). The effects in the last drawing were also much larger and felt as if the strength of the magic was on a much larger scale.
However, it is clear that your technique has changed and improved since that time. There are more effects, detail and the colours work a little better in my opinion. Well done, this is a fantastic piece filled with raw awe.

I like the other one a lot too. Looking between them, they have such different emotions behind them, or look like they do. In the original, Twilight looks ready for a fight, here, to me, she looks like she's almost frightened to have that much power.
