A larger less compressed pic - inspired by an insane amount of les miserables and my own sort of love tragedy where I am the one who fell hopelessly in love with someone who cannot love me back because he loves another . . . ...really good work with the colored pencils.. however it´s the concept that speaks to me.. the emotion in the image make me feel... sad.. hopefully you´ll soon find your love.. and he´ll love you back.. you just have to keep trying.. thats what i did. . .

supreme colouring!
In the beginign I thought the reflection is a bit weird, because it reflects green, while in the original the trees are pink, then I noticed it is different altogether!
This is such a coll idea....

Oh, Lord, it's been too long since I've seen your art. The imagery here is so fantastic, it's hard to comprehend the depth you went to creating this wonderful piece of art. It's not as clean as some of your other pieces, but man, if it isn't as pretty. The reflection in itself is incredible--to be able to accomplish such an effect using only coloured pencils is practically superhuman--but to *change* things like that, so that the viewer notices them subtly at first, then more and more...it's so incredibly powerful, I couldn't help but smile when I realized what it was showing. The emotion, the pose, the whole artistry of the thing...it's all amazingly gorgeous, and impressively meaningful, and you deserve respect for that--in not just a technical masterpiece but an emotional one.
