Sketcher was getting the hang of sanitation detail. Sure enough, it was easy to get the routine down. While she was doing her job for her punishment, her mind wandered to the half-dream, half-unconscious memory from earlier. At least that is what it felt like that she had experienced today in the simulation room. She could not shake the feeling that it was more than a dream. That the adult man may have been the father that she lost when she was a youngling. She did not remember where she came from. All she knew was what the First Order told her, which was that she was rescued on a pirate ship. There had been no name or note with her. They took her in and brought her to the Resurgent-class Star Destroyer, Absolution, to become part of the storm trooper training program. She wondered who her parents were and if they were even alive. If they were, did they miss her? Did they know her actual name? They must because they were her parents after all, but she honestly did not know if they were still alive either. For all she knew, the pirates could have killed her parents and took her to be sold as a potential slave for who knows what.

               Maybe one day I'll find out. She thought. Then I would know what my real name is. Not that I mind the nickname Sketcher, but it's a nickname. It is not an official name. The only name the First Order ever gave me was XE-8390.

               This was part of the reason why the cadets all pretty much idolized Captain Phasma. She had a name as did Captain Cardinal.

               One day for sure, I plan on earning a name. Sketcher thought. Then I might just be able to find out if I still have any family left outside the First Order.
