Worked on the version on the left with some of my fav people who I am so incredibly sad I am not at a slumber party with, and !!
was sleeping LMFAO

Gotta fix the coloration of her skin in the morning! It's fine on my laptop but so orange on my cellphone. ....

An urban feel incorporating some fashion trends preferred by relevant parties to Ruby's development!
I felt like an old school beatbox would be a nice alternative to the usual speaker motif that many vocaloids have built into their designs.
It's not the official design though, so you don't have to think too hard into it LOL

Just kidding haha I actually mentioned it in the description but I'm friends with the core of the Ruby development team so we all tossed ideas around together the day I drew this! Some elements seem to have made it into the final design!

Oh my goodness, I know this is kind of old now, but I found it while lurking the 'net hoping for some Ruby updates.
I absolutely adore the design on the right! The color scheme is unusual but goes really, really well, and she's got this perfect mesh of modern-trendy and Vocaloid flair that's really hard to put into words. It's so cool that the boombox is plugged into her belt, too. This is so amazing! I wish it was official.
