Although not being much of a conversationalist, or a sociable person in general, Bakugou was always looking out for you on the sidelines. Whenever you would have surprise tests in homeroom, he would threaten politely ask your opponent to go easy on you. Or whenever you had combat battles, where you would verse each other, he would inconspicuously go easy on you, although making sure he'd win in the end. Whenever he would have conversations with you, he would make sure to drag the two of you in an isolated place, so he could have you all to himself.

Never would he admit any of these things to another living soul, but he really did care for you. As he never memorized any of his other classmates names, although being in UA for quite some time, he memorized yours since the day the two of you started becoming friends. Barely did he see you during class hours, perhaps only shortly for outdoor exams, but he always made sure you sat with him for lunchtime and walking you home from school after everyone had left. Your name was (L/n) (F/n), and your homeroom was the class next to his.

The first day you met him, was during a hectic lunch period where the press trespassed on the school's property. In the midst of the frantic, he was frustrated about not being able to see anything passed the large horde of students. Not going unnoticed by you, you made sure to reassure him with simple one-liners, and with light pats on his back. Only the first few times of you patting his back had he swiped your hand away, but slowly, his gaze towards the large door of the cafeteria becoming more and more languid, thus letting you continue the action towards the end of the chaos. Soon, having heard from another classmate at UA on the top of the exit sign, that the trespassers were just the press, many realized there was no reason to panic, so the crowd soon simmered down.

Over the course of a few months, Bakugou realized a few things about you. You would always twiddle your fingers whenever you were nervous, or when you were happy, your (e/c) orbs would enlighten as a twinkle would sparkle in them. Whenever you noticed he was upset about anything in particular, whether it be important or trivial, you always dropped whatever you were currently doing to reassure him and let him rant to you, as if he was your first priority. He would simply brush many off the reassuring things you said to him with a "whatever" or "tch", to not let his pride waver, but he truly did appreciate what you would say to him.

Only until recently had he discovered that he may harbor the smallest, tiniest, microscopic feelings for you.

Many times when you said something that would catch him off guard so a tinge of pink dusted his cheeks, he would cover it, or abruptly get up and walk away, leaving you clueless as to what happened. And during his realizing what 'little' feelings he had for you, he also became more observant of various things. Various things being who you had conversed with. He became more and more wary of who you talked to whose name didn't happen to be Bakugou Katsuki, and he especially didn't like when you even looked at his 'arch-rival' Midoriya, or Deku as Bakugou liked to call him. That meaning he especially didn't like the situation he was witnessing right at this very second.

You weren't just looking at Deku, but you had the audacity to have a whole conversation with him right in front of Bakugous eyes! Well, even though you weren't aware with the fact he was watching you, Bakugou strongly felt that you shouldn't have been talking to Deku regardless. He had been gone for one second, and the next thing he knew, there you were having a conversation with Midoriya at his table.

But being the best undercover eavesdropper he was, he also attempted on listening in to the conversation.

"...I...like you.." Bakugou gaped at what he had just heard. Had Deku just....confess to you? There was no way he would put up with this.

Bakugou marched over to you, pulled you by the hand, and marched to the outskirts of the cafeteria. "What was that for?"

"Shouldn't I be asking you that? I was talking with Midoriya before you took me away! I know you don't like him but..that doesn't mean I can't talk to him." You drifted off cautiously, not wanting to anger him even more.

Not knowing how to reply without completely blasting out on you, he closed his eyes and took a deep breath, his permanent scowl became more and more apparent. "I know you can talk to whoever you want...but why Deku of all people."

A moment of hesitation of place was taken, you squinted your eyes as if trying to observe or figure out something. Unconsciously taking a few steps back away from you, he was both afraid and puzzled of your actions. And after a few moments of observing, a glint of amusement twinkled in your eyes.

"Oh, so you're jealous, are you?"

His eyes widening dramatically while his jaw simultaneously dropped to the floor, "Me? Jealous. Hah! You've got to be kiddin' me!"

A shake of your head was taken place as he self-reassuringly laughed at the notion. "Then how about I go and ask him to hang out with me after class ends."

The painfully insincere laughing stopped instantaneously after hearing your words. Red eyes darkening dramatically as they bored into yours, "Don't you dare."
