You leaned into Akaashi’s arm unconsciously as he peered down at the people walking below you two, his personal space tolerance was something he needed to work on. Often times you were overly affectionate in public without it crossing your mind that you could make an onlooker uncomfortable.

"The breeze is nice." Akaashi said monotonously.

You nodded your head in agreement, leaning over to steal one of the pieces of chicken from his box. You grinned at him innocently when he glanced over.

"Can we walk home together today?" You looked at him with desperate eyes. "Do you have practice today?"

"Ah, sure. I have nothing planned this afternoon."

The walks Akaashi had with you were never boring. He had a few memories of it, some vague, some pretty vivid. Akaashi took another bite, letting you lean against him. That was something else he really didn’t mind.

You two were at your favorite chicken place. They had just about everything with chicken. Fried chicken, grilled chicken, chicken salad, pan-fried chicken. Your favorite, of course, was the delicious roasted chicken they had to offer. Akaashi always took the same order as you and asked for extra, so that way when you were hungry for more, you could just take his leftovers.

The two of you sat on the balcony of the second floor of the restaurant, peering down at the pedestrians walking alongside the boardwalk. The boardwalk encircled the lake that was next to the restaurant, and the restaurant was just so close to the lake that if you sat still, you could feel the soft, lake breeze.

On the other side of he lake was a park where you could see children running and climbing on the large oak trees. A pretty hotel stood to the right-side of the lake where it's reflection was apparent in the clear waters below.

Looking around at the surroundings of the beautiful lakeside was one of the many reasons you loved coming here.

And just as you were gazing deeply at the beautiful scene, you were unaware of Akaashi's face coming closer and closer to your ear.

"It's beautiful, is it not?" He said ever-so calmly.

A small smile graced your features. "Yeah, it is."

Your head leaned closer to him as a pair of lips softly collided with your cheek, melting there for a few moments. "But it's beauty cannot compare to yours."
