My Second Color Pencil tutorial!!
This is dedicated to, 8D Because you know the story behind the end... and plus, I want you to add color to your drawings O3O Even though they're already great ^__^ ..And because you know my secrets D:< -slaps-
If you use this... Soo~ Here we go!! ^o^
I decided to make another Color Pencil tutorial, because I've gotten a lot of requests for a new one (The old one was... EVIL *__*) and I decided I wanted to finish one and inspire more people to try traditional art ^__^ It takes lot of practice... but practice makes perfect, right? <3
If you have any questions, feel free to ask! ^w^ I realize that the tutorial can be very confusing, so don't feel hesitant to ask anything! >w<

This is interesting. Different than what I ususally do (but probably better).
I should try this on my next picture.
On a completely unrelated subject, what kind of program would you use for digital coloring? I love the look, and I would love to get something and try it.

Because I'm doing tons (10+) of pictures at once and most of them are digital. D8 I intended to practice my digital colouring, but I miss my dear colour pencils... ._. And I hate the fact that I can't get that soft and warm effect in my colouring. D':

Because... the actual drawings are so small! They're the size of pocket notebook! D8 I can't colour them tidily... (And again, my obsessive-compulsive mind doesn't let me stray from the "rules" D8)

It is fun, but I'm the opposite of you--I draw "realistic" things more often than random ones, and now I'm frustrated because I can't convince myself to go crazy once in a while! TT^TT NOOO!

I doodled something colourful yesterday... I was so happy I got to play with random colours. :'D I coloured it without thinking at all... It felt so fun! 8D

So you start coloring with the darkest color XD The total opposite of me XD
I think start coloring by the darkest can be a problem if you commit en error, because it's hard to erase.
And it also can blur the pic if it is black color, for example.
But it's just my opinion ^^

Ah~ Well I do the outline with a dark color, just as a guideline ^__^ I shade in with the lightest, and then build on top of that with a darker color <3 Soo~ It's a bit of opposition for both ;D

XD I always do the black coloring last... Because it ALWAYS smears when I brush my hand against the paper while I'm coloring..
