Description I really want a hedgehog fer christmas! I don't know why, but they are just sooooooooooo cute! -snuggles a hedgehog-

You have to agree that they are cute. I have to convince me parents that I can have one! I need to go to a pet store and get one of those books on hedgehogs.

did you know, that if a hedggie likes the way you smell, he will lick his quills after you touch him.... it works kinda like a paste in which it makes your sent stick to him..... so you and mr.hedggie can smell the same! its kinda cool! i means he loves you!!! [link]

Awesome! I asked my friend if I could babysit hers since I'm too much of a pussy to buy one.

They're really fun! But as I discovered, if they come into new surroundings, they're a bit grumpy and don't want to be held as much. And they're nocturnal, so when I want to play with them most, I'm usually asleep...

I love them. They're a little hard to cuddle with, though.

My boyfriend and I want to get a hedgehog as soon as we're starting to live together in autumn, but here in Germany they aren't really pets, so you can't simply buy one in a pet store... we'll probably have to catch one ourselves

but hello to your parents: hedgehogs are cute as hell and intelligent and not very different from mice or hamsters. so it's only a small pet, nothing to worry about
