I really want a hedgehog fer christmas! I don't know why, but they are just sooooooooooo cute! -snuggles a hedgehog-You have to agree that they are cute. I have to convince me parents that I can have one! I need to go to a pet store and get one of those books on hedgehogs.

I wanted one for sooooo long and I finally got one a couple of days ago! They do require a lot of research because they have only been domesticated pets since the 80's so not a lot is known about their requirements. Just a tip for your future pet, DON'T FEED IT "HEDGEHOG FOOD", the kind that is sold commercially- it's worthless. Get some quality catfood.

I want a hedgehog but it's illegal in my state to bring them in from other parts of the country ;_; And I can't find any pet stores that sell them...

A hedgehog is just like a spikey hamster. I had one in my garden and it waddled round just like one <3 It was so cute.
Never heard of hedgehogs as pets though... it seems strange with all their spines.

Remember not to give your hedgehog to much milk if you get one. They can't degrade the lactose well and end up having belly aches >_<
They like to drink milk however - it's just about the same thing with my alkohol *drool* XD

I'm getting a hedgehog next month, I paid for him and everything, and the breeder told me he'd be ready to come home July 25th (: I got to hold him, and the one im getting is really friendly.
