I really want a hedgehog fer christmas! I don't know why, but they are just sooooooooooo cute! -snuggles a hedgehog-You have to agree that they are cute. I have to convince me parents that I can have one! I need to go to a pet store and get one of those books on hedgehogs.

I really really want a hedgehog too.. but convincing my parents is basically impossible, and hedgehogs are expensive... something like $110 each, but how long do they live?

They are adorable, I almost want one, I've already got a cat, dog, lizards, turtles, tank fish, pond fish, and a parakeet. So I'll focus on them.

I used to have a hedgehog named Sambuca, but then he passed away last month. I still love him, though. ^_^ Hopefully you're able to get one, or have one based on around the time when this was posted. XD

Aww.... I'm sorry that you weren't able to get one! And it's okay, my hedgie's in a better place now. He'll be happy and never have to worry about pooping or being hungry & thirsty!

They sell them at our local pet store so I get to see them every day xD

Look for hedgehog breeders near you, get a history report, and make sure that it's legal to own a hedgie in your state!

I have a hedgie!!! ^^ He's such a delight! His name is Pepper :3 His breed is salt and pepper pinto, with his cute little brown nosie(the black noses are less cuter)

they make lovely pets, just make sure that you get one from a breeder.
Once you have on, they are a fair amount of work. I would suggest reading web pages all over the internet.
If you are extremely interseted in one, I might even suggest rescuing one, which you can do on a website.
But they are truly a joy to own, this coming from a hedgie owner.
