Description I'm sorting out my folders, since they're just a huge mess! I lost most of my files last year, and unfortunately haven't been able to save them yet. But I found a few files, on my old desktop, which has been swimming around in different folders, on my laptop, since I found them. Same with all my photoshop files.
These are a few of the drawings I found. Some I don't even remember the age of

If you're going to reference that's fine. But referencing off people's fan works upsets some artists. The wolf you 'drew' in the upper left hand corner looks heavily referenced from two of dukacia 's imagesΒ

It looks like a mash of the head and body of the upper images. A lot of the lion king images look heavily referenced from other artists as well.Β

I'm sorry? But I have never seen those images, and I haven't even heard of that artist before. Don't be so judgmental, when you don't have any reason for it.
I've used that style, for wolves and dogs, for YEARS. And if I have to tell someone, that inspired be, it would be the countless dogs from Disney movies, Balto and the artist Dolphy. It's a very Disney kinda style And there is no reference used, for my wolf in the corner - I don't really need it, for that kind of pose - Or for any of the other drawings, for that matter. Except for the one Superman drawing, which is done after a tutorial, and some animals, where I used real life photos, as reference. And yes, maybe the running Simba.Β

There is no "heavlily referenced" photos here.Β
So please, take it easy. Take that defense a step down, and breathe deeply.

You haven't? Comparing them side by side looked like a conglomeration of the two images. Maybe it's a coincidence?Β

It is a coincidence. Believe it or not, I honestly don't care. I wouldn't say it, if it weren't the case.
It's just two wolves, lying down. Same pose I use for lions, when they're lying down. There's only so much you can do.
Besides, there's lots of differences to them too. But I'm not going to discuss it, since I don't feel I have anything to prove or protect..

Besides. It's very easy for The Lion King - or any kind of known artstyle - to seem alike. That is the point, isn't it?
I'll never get why people get so upset, when art styles look alike.Β
