Finally decided to upload this one too ,but it's been a while since I drew this though.(but no worries,this will be scrapped pretty soon,considering the low quality
)These are fanart sketches for the Professor Layton game(s) for the DS ,and the game itself is pretty awesome, definitely one of my favorite for the DS.
If you were looking for a good game,then I really recommand it,it's a puzzle game but it has an awesome plotline. (especially the 2nd and the 3th game,I'm dying to see them release in Europe )
Also,it makes you feel smart whenever you can solve a riddle >: D and the artwork is really nice .
I never expected this game to be this good to the point that I can't stop doodling Layton everywhere. Like this picture was drawn while I was studying xD.Explains why it's so random.At least,I did try to draw Don Paolo,I like this villain

Soooo, I will just say that I freakin' love your designs of the characters! These doodles are really awesome. Pfft, I can't help but giggle at Flora's <3 while she's taking off the string from her dress. XD

By the way, how do you keep pencil sketches like this from smudging? I always smudge mine if I don't put them in a plastic case. >A<

aaah, I know smudging can be very irritating xD. Though I hafta say your drawings don't look all that smudgy to me
well firstly, I think it quite depends of the pencil you use. I only live with standard mechanical pencils (0.7 is <3) ,softer pencils smudges less,but I find their strokes to be boring :/
While drawing I also constantly use the eraser ,but really constantly xD, practically with every line I draw, so it all stays neat and clean (consumes a lot of my precious time xD).
Ehm,also grainy paper is verily annoying.Just.Won't.Stay.Clean.
And yeah,when you draw above,next,under,etc.... another pencil drawing you could use a small piece of paper inbetween as protection (not that I bother doing that )

Oh, really? Haha, it's probably 'cause I have to keep erasing the smudges before I post them! (I use 0.7!) And thanks, that rant helps a lot! ^^
XD I'm always erasing, but sometimes I draw so dark that it permanently marks the paper. ;A; Any way to stop that? Just practice drawing light, right?

haha,I have no magic tricks, I erase these ugly lil smudges all the time too x)

I find drawing dark to be more fun than light actually,but yeah, I recently found out that the paper itselfs play a way more important role in drawing too xD(grainy-not-too-grainy paper is lovely). But else,maybe I would suggest you to use a more light pencil (or a 5.0 / 3.0 ) to do a quick basic idea (in 30 sec orso ), and then use the 0.7 to do the pencildrawing on itself, it would keep you from erasing and messing with the 0.7 , butyeah, timeconsuming I guess

It's really simple yet perfect.
Whenever I draw Layton's head it looks more or less like a soggy box.

Veel anders dan de DS gebruik ik ook niet,er zijn er wel een boel goeie spellen op.
Ik ben opgehouden met pokemon sinds de GBA-versies (te veel verschillende pokemons om te volgen
