In the last week we got quite a bit of snow, which inspired this picture! This picture doesn't show how just 30 seconds later I dropped Chibi and lost him in the snow.

I used the same method as my first picture, drew it up in my sketch book, scanned in the image and then Chibi helped fix the proportion issues, and helped with lining. He added himself in there for me too (I totally wouldn't have been able to do that!) and then I colored and shaded it. I got to use Chibi's snowflake brush which was a lot of fun.
I'm really happy with how this turned out though, it's my first real try at making a background!
I couldn't do this without Chibi. <3

"Dropped Chibi and lost him in the snow"? The only way I can relate to that this moment is when I dropped my truck keys in the fresh fallen snow a few days back and wondered for a few seconds; "Where the heck are they?"Β

Thank you so much!! And I really hope you're able to finish up what you mentioned. I think it's inspired Chibi a bit too to work more on his art and be more productive with posting and interacting with our friends on here again. We've both been sort of lazy with it lately.

I was chatting with my friend from Australia, and I could hardly believe that he hadn't seen snow. It is just so common here, I guess we take it for granted. I generally dislike the snow and cold but I would really miss it if we NEVER got it.

never seen it,would love to see it, very limited places in australia where it snows, nsw mostly (dont live there) and northern vic, but when i do come across snow snow for the first time,i will go ape-shit eg snow-angels catching flakes on tongue snowballs etc, it will be fun i reckon haha

Oh, I didn't realize you were in Australia. My friend was telling me about how when he goes to the beach there are sharks swimming around and they don't bother you. As long as you aren't antagonizing them obviously, but I can't believe that! I would be scared out of my mind. Hahaha

its bit of a hot topic here as well, government want to have a shark cull over in W.A ,bit silly as it is the sharks home, it is so not on, so the sharks might decide that we are the dangerous ones and come on land and cull us, kinda like sharknado sort of haha

Chibi helped quite a bit, I am still having a hard time with lining and the pressure sensitivity, but the coloring and shading I am great at!
