Can't believe that aside from the Mane Six and the dear to my heart background ponies, it's Diamond Tiara and Snips who get an individual family tree too.
Let's do this one slightly different and go bottom to top on it.

Diamond Tiara and Snips are married, they met again in Canterlot as adults, where Snips was big in the fashion industry (what I headcanon his scissors stand for; cutting fabric) and fell in love. They have one daughter, Diamond Diadem.

Diamond's parents Filthy Rich and Spoiled Rich above her. EDIT: I changed her maiden name from Brat to Milk, I had totally forgotten there was a canon name given there.

Far as canon goes, we skip the entire next generation above, so I filled in the blanks there. If Filthy has the "Rich" name like his own grandfather, I figured that his father too must share the name - so I went with Gettin' Rich for him. I chose an unnamed background pony whose color-scheme matches Filthy's and with a fancy diamond cutie mark, he'd fit into the family.
Now, grandma was more a random pick, but I thought that the background pony Chelsea Porcelain fits well to Diamond Tiara and since we do associate fine porcelain with wealth, I think she fits into the family.

Now, one generation higher, we actually go canon again. Which might be why they earned a family tree of their own, since we go back so far in canon. Stinkin' Rich and Filthy's grandma as seen in the comics - I chose to name her Pearl Brooch, to fit her cutie mark and between Diamond and Pearl, I also thought it went well with Diamond Tiara.

On the other side of the family, we got Snips' parents. Since Snips was teaming up in the race with Puppydog Tails and they do have quite the similar coat-color, I figured him to be Snips' father.
Considering we do meet Snips' grandfather Kingpin in the comics, I guessed that Tails isn't the missing link between them because it'd be weird if the bodytype just... skipped a generation, so I picked one of the very limited amount of chubby ponies to be Snips' mom - Peanut Pastry. I do think that there is quite the family resemblance between her and both Kingpin and Snips.
Now I just needed an elderly pony who'd fit as the mother of Peanut Pastry, since she doesn't exactly share colors with Kingpin. That's when I came across Tough Nut and not only do her colors and curled hairstyle fit, the fact that both have "nut" in the name works well too, I think. I guess Snips' grandparents are divorced, what with them living so far apart.
