A cute picture of Takara relaxing on a weekend morning, alongside her coffee and laptop, while doodling in her notebook. Wings make it SO much easier to hold pencils.
Also, she's wearing a huge black shirt for pajamas, which is based off an actual shirt that I own, that was a hand-me-down from my sister. And an undergarnment strap sticking out of the shoulder, because why not? It's kind of the way I interpret/imagine my idea of a perfect morning, just relaxing, trying to wake myself up some more with the things I love. And of course, the golden coffee tradition, can never forget the coffee tradition. (Link Below)

Coffee Tradition

It doesn't look like my other drawings, where I normally use gradient lighting; this one, I wanted to make more like an actual painting, by using different color shades, and then a bit of extra lighting for good measure. I was inspired by 's digital painting of her waifu, . I loved how she was able to make it look like an actual painting (along with a great many of her other works). I might do more like these, because I'm starting to like it more than my last gradient-shading style, but also because I'm thinking of trying something new. After all, what kind of artist would I be if I didn't try something different every now and then? (DCC's digital painting is below...)

(Pt. 2 of the Shimmering Likeness Comic will be out in time. I got a shitload of work I've been meaning to upload, and finishing that comic is one of them, but I also wanna show a little something special.)
