It's been a long time since my last Samus fanart(8 years!!O_o), so here's a new one^^ I used the design she have in Super Smash Bros Ultimate, but instead of reducing curves like the original I went the other way xDDD I don't mind the heels too much, it still looks kinda weird for me, though they sure are a pain in the ass to draw xDDDD

You're not wrong. I guess it would depend on if the artist was trying to be accurate or if the artist was adding an interpretation of a character. Does a photographer capturing a landscape have to strive to depict it as they saw it? Or can that photographer take liberties to add an artistic interpretation? Or perhaps this is the artists' personal style. I do wonder though, how can one create a realistic picture of a fictional character who is not grounded in reality?Β
