I paint every day till lunch and then try to catch up on the computer here
and then do a piece for DA and then its supper....Whew....LOL
I need me a whole nother lifetime just to get some animation time in....

Green with envy haha, I really like the animation its really good and rather smooth with the paws and reminds me of a old cartoon. I wonder how hard and time consuming it would be to do shorts animated like this? I still have animation on my to do list so I guess I will find out!

Yes I guess just like drawing and painting the more you do it and improve the more you dislike your older works though at the very least those older works have already done there job. Still 24fps does feel quite hardcore and I can only imagine how much time and effort it takes to do a 1 minute animation like that, I guess when I start I will focus on the smaller details first like eyes blinking etc and move on from there. Are you working on any more animations now?

Definitely! I've been animating since i was a Jr. in highschool, so it's taken a lot of time to get to this point, so don't punish yourself if it turns out to be a slow ordeal. I think eyes are a great starting point, along with bouncing balls, those sound fun and easy, but full of potential to teach. I'm not working on anything currently, I don't have any ideas, but I would like to make a dragon, so maybe I'll start prepping for that

Yes I can see that learning to animate is a very long process but then I guess all art is like that. Still you should definitely try and do a animated dragon when you get the chance, you should do one of them cute baby dragons you designed animated or even a few of them together!
