The way you drew this piece really attracts the eye. However, the pose seems a little similar to the Charizard Lv. X card. The shadows and shading are very well done! Also, this was an excellent use of markers. It kind of feels like Charizard is flying up into the sky, which is great. Overall, you did a VERY nice job with this. The coloring, positioning, and background are all superb and makes this an eye-catching piece!

This piece is quite beautiful with nice, solidly laid colors. It kind of reminds me of a Pokemon card design. The light/smoke coming off the fire seems a little choppy and not wispy enough near the top, but it looks like you got it pretty good in the rest of the picture.
I see that it appears as if charizard is completely surrounded in fire, and the shadows and highlights are well placed for that. Although, I wonder: is charizard's head poking out the top of the wall of flame? Looking at it, I feel almost as if its head should have some very faint back shades of blue on the shadowed part of its head to give the feel that it's facing the sky and maybe give the head a little more depth. If it's a dark sky or a night sky in which no blue reflection would be shown, you should show it more in the background with darker colors. I do love the little shoreline and mountains you've put in the background, though. They give a very nice sense of distance above the ground and adds depth. Combined with the great foreshortening of charizard and the flames, you have a really nice 3D depth effect.
I also feel as if the fire needs something, though. Maybe a little more swirls of color between the orange and yellow, because if you look at fire, it moves around a lot. Maybe just put more colors into the fire in general, because there are lots of different shades of colors in fire! The colors shift around randomly in it, especially in larger blasts of flame. The swirls you put on the edges of the fire help give a sense of that flame movement, but it seems to go against your flame effect, especially in that bottom strip of fire. You seem to have a very good feel for the medium you use, so I believe you can make really good flames with a little practice in the area.

this peice is amazing, an amazing use of markers, wish i could use markers like that. i also like how the backround matches with what is happening in this scene.
not to mention that charizard looks very epic.the chadowing is also incredible.
i like how you light the colors on the different body parts.

Let's start with Vision:
The fire was very well done. I know from experience that fire is a hard thing to draw, but you had no trouble with that. The light glinting off his claws is very cool,and his face expression is..epic XD

Technique: I like style is this piece. You can see some of the lines/strokes on Charazard, which some people may not like, but I think it looks great.

Definately reminscent of REALLY EARLY old gen.1 art which (as much as I know that that Pokemon eventually grew to look more like casual anime) I'm a fan of the REALLY OLD manga style b/c it had it's own like faded,waterpaint tone granularness that we lost when we started to follow the anime more but still saw with gen.2 art but finally lost by gen.3
