day 12 of a Pokémon challenge!day 12: Favorite ice type
my favorite is walrein (though I think the thumbnail makes it look like gyarados..)
mines name is snowball : )
one of my all time favorites from ruby version
so powerful
and stab ice ball is our game

Walrein's an unusual favorite--definitely don't hear that a lot. 
It's really cool how though the colors do reflect Gyrados to a degree, the shape of the dress (it reflects Walrein's shape more than it does Gyrados' or other similarly colored Pokemon) and the shading of the hair (so icy!) make it obvious it's a Walrein. The side ruffles (jk all the ruffles) looks so cool and detailed. The smaller ones definitely remind me of water.

Walrein is one of the Pokemon that was never really shaken for me in turms of me liking it ^^
no it's not popular but it is solid
hard to find them in gijinkas that aren't fat XD lol I thought the dress shape did it's job though
i did think it looked like garyados cuz of the color of the side ruffles, but I got really creative with thisdesign
like her brooch and ribbon bow are symbolic of the snout and tusks of Walrein and the pearl on her side is sea related lol I just really liked her design XD

Yeah, it sure is an effective Pokemon (just got pwned by one on showdown).
True, a lot of gijinkas are pretty skinny and the girlish pokemon are the most popular. I wonder how a Spheal's dress/outfit would look, since it's pretty much a big ball of fat

Your humanized Walrein is elegant. I'm surprised Walrein is your favorite. Do you like her just for her power? Ice Ball is sweet stuff in-game, but I couldn't get my Eviolite-holding Sealeo to use it effectively in Pokemon Showdown. Opponents would either switch Pokemon to something that resists ice or interrupt the move before it could build up and smash everything in its way. Is your blushing Walrein embarrassed by the attention of those who gaze upon her elegance?

It was quite the challenge too as:
1) Walrein is HARD to imagine as a girl and
2) The tusk are hard to translate in a fashion way
You did success at both however, thats impressive.
Personnaly though.. I would have chose Spheal, simply because its one of the most ADORABLE Pokemon their is
ANYWAY... Next is NORMAL type. Wonder who you will choose
