Hi guys! This is something different than usual. I'm taking part in a competition, and this is my entry for it. These stairs are quite aweful now and competition rules said to paint only vertical part of the stairs. The first and the last of every part must be yellow for safety reasons. What's more the painting need to be 50 cm recoiled from walls. I wanted to create something fresh and happy.EDIT:

I can picture pencils of that size placed on those stairs but standing upright, and placed in such a way that you can't walk straight up or down, you have to slalom. For some reason that would seem to be very beneficial to the human psychology to me. Because you can't walk straight lines in a forest either, can you? And forests are supposedly good for our mental health, partly because of the fresh air, but maybe also partly because they discourage the formation of physical and psychological straight lines. Thanks for the inspiration

Na miniaturce skojarzyło mi się ze schodami w Poznaniu i widzę, że dobre to było skojarzenie. Świetny pomysł (a sama idea na odświeżenie schodów jeszcze lepsza, chociaz troche to trwało ^^ )

This is a very great way to give new life to those kind of dark stairs. 
Congratulations for winning the competition. I don't know the other entries but I think this deserved to win, anyways.
Though I have to confess that I like this version much better than the result on the real stairs. The painting loses its effect a bit on a freshly renovated stairway, in my opinion...
