The Cafe inside the old library- the commision I did yesterday, and I'm happy with the result.watercolor on paper, some Photoshop and dry pastels, 42x56cm

I like the rings on the right side as it adds a nice to touch to the cozy warm colors used to color the library. Nice job with the details on the ceiling.

Even so, I felt that if the background was a little brighter the silhouettes in the foreground would contrast better? Just my opinion, not to be of offence or anything. The ceiling is very well-done, at any rate.

This is really wonderful! You have done an excellent job with the lighting within the space, and by simply painting silhouettes of people in the café, you have added an air of mystery to an otherwise cut-and-dry subject matter. Very nice work with the details, as always. ^^

Sorry WonderDookie Â, but this place absolutely does exist; very, very much so. My company did the lighting restoration of this space, The Morgan Library in New York City.
