The Cafe inside the old library- the commision I did yesterday, and I'm happy with the result.watercolor on paper, some Photoshop and dry pastels, 42x56cm

I agree with the commenter who said that it has a very warm feeling to it just like visiting a real library.
We don't have very many buildings in the US with anything like this kind of feel--maybe in some of the oldest cities, but even then those would be old replicas inspired by the real thing in Europe. Libraries are always special places even when they're inside the dumpiest government-issue buildings, but this just seems even more magical. From a different time and place.

That would be a VERY expensive trip for me.

but as you can read you can always travel to ny there is a similar library, but not that dark and not that crowded

The northeastern states have our oldest buildings (except for St. Augustine), so that sounds right to me that NY would come the closest.

To be honest i was thinking for a long time what should i paint and how but drawing and painting took me few hours
