The detail that can be seen in this piece is incredible! The architecture is reminiscent of old New York, a city known for its magnificent displays at Christmas which i feel is alluded to in the inclusion of the man carrying the christmas tree through the flurries of snow. The colors are warm and cool, and the tree stands out bright against the pale snowy background. All together I feel this piece is very well executed!

I think it looks like the city paintings of Oiver and Company. It makes me nostagic. I really miss animated movies that used watercolors in the background.
