that white misty part below the building, how did you make it? i mean, did you just leave it uncoloured, or you overlay it with white after you finished it? and for the dark sky, how did you make it really dark? because i find it really hard to make dark colour with watercolour, i often make it not dark enough, altough i overlay many times. thankyou very much, sorry i ask too much

I'll admit, as much as I like the background of the buildings, the rest of this just doesn't hold itself up as well as the rest of your art. I can't say for sure, but I feel like you added the mist and the glow of the lanterns digitally and I feel these don't mesh very w ell with the watercolor...
As for the bottom, it feels crowded, which could be a good thing, but it's more messy than controlled chaos. It's nice to see something new, but at the same time, you need to work on the composition of it. As a whole, the composition is great since we're drawn around the picture, but it's hard to find focus--is it the lanterns? the deer? Something we're missing in the crowd--this isn't bad if it helps draw you around, but at the same time, I feel lost in the pic and I'm given very little context as to whats happening.
Otherwise, great job and beautiful work as always.

I love the top two thirds of this painting and would crop out the bottom part - the fog sort of does that already. The video is wonderful!
