My favorite Dr. Seuss book ever is the Lorax. When I was little, I had 2 different copies of it, one in a larger book called, "Six by Seuss" and another all by itself as the good old Lorax. I loved the old cartoon, though I thought the Lorax was to whiny and not scary enough- I watched it until those little grey lines creeped through the VHS and it gradually stopped working. I recently watched the new movie, and I LOVED it. The Once-ler was finally given a human face, Danny DiVito voiced the Lorax and made him sound as bad-ass he did in my head. As a result, I've done a couple drawings in pencil. I really wanted someone who knitted to draw the Once-ler knitting, because I've honestly never seem a drawing of him, even Seuss's own, where he was really knitting, they're all needles pointing in weird directions and whatnot. There's no call for that. So here he is, knitting from the tuffs of trufula trees.
