Meowth- quite possibly my favorite Pokemon. I know what you're all thinking- I love Meowth because of the talking Meowth who accompanies Jessie and James . And though this is a large factor, and I do love Meowth, the main reason that I love meowths in general is because of the move "Payday". See, meowth work on the principle that all that glitters /is/ gold. They are made of a gold-like metal, and will use their fur as projectiles- which rakes in the money. In the first generation, this move was the only way to make money after you'd defeated all the trainers. Money literally /grows/ on these little critters.And, they'll steal that shit. If you don't give a meowth an item to hold, it'll pick up items. Because meowths are awesome. I /love/ meowths.

what program do you use to grid these sprites, and still get the grids to show?

I rip the sprites using vgba. Then I import them into PCstitch where I clean and color them. So I suppose the "grid" is added via PCStitch? It actually gives an output with floss colors and whatnot, but I hate those because I'll use whatever thread I want, bitch. You know? Don't be all trying to control me, PCStitch.

yeah i hated when it was like "you have to use X colour and X colour" uhm no. i have these two that i found in the bottom of my bag, and i'll use those instead thanks lol.

I did, but that was literally at least 10 years ago and I've been using it ever since. The upgrades are free, and it's a program that I really enjoy. I know that you can download a trial version from their website, and the only difference is that it doesn't let you save. But it does everything else, and you can just screenshot your pattern when you're finished with it. I do that with my pokemon patterns anyway- they're actually part of one giant pattern that I'm planning on posting whenever I finish it completely.

ihad considered taking a screen shot of it and just saving them that way, but i wasn't sure if that would be an acceptable way to make patterns. when you save your idea through your program that you have purchased, does it look the same as just a screen shot of the screen? are there no added like, anything else?
perhaps when i'm a bit more financially stable i'll buy it, but as of right now, i'm poor as hell, and screen shot anything if it means i don't have to buy it haha

I haven't really noticed a difference. I mean, this pattern, a lot of the pokemon patterns, actually, I've screen-shotted. The Emily patterns are saved. And they seem to be about the same quality to me. But I'm not real real picky about it, lol.
