Description
Here we are! something to break this long "fast" of not posting (and right after proclaiming my desire for a serialized illustrative series...)ΒI hope you will pardon my absence
On the topic of the actual image, it was based upon a prompt from school. The assignment called for a reinterpretation of a popular fable (at least, that is what I took it to mean)
Title and concept were centered more around the Brothers Grimm story
P.S. is this image too dark? with some of my recent work, I have been trying to push the values, which I have heard can make it hard to see on some monitors. I would love any input about this issue with variance in screen back-lightingΒ

Nice job on this, it came out great. As for the values, it looks fine on my monitor, but I do have to mention this one isn't calibrated correctly.Β

Thanks for the input! yeah, I've had some issues with my image resolutions (calibration related no doubt). Do you have any advice on how to fix this? It would be a big help.

Not really. I've been going through that. All I know is that there are some programs out there that'll help calibrate your monitors, but that's it so far. If I knew more I would say, as I still need to calibrate my computers, I'm unsure as to how soft or dark my drawings are appearing.Β
