While meandering the icy Isle, she seeks out the aging Jarl, perched and waiting on the edge of the harbor for the last shipment of the day to arrive safely home. The two chat about what has gone on since Riamh left, and she expresses her thoughts on a certain loss the Ting took recently. Almost to her surprise, Njal pledges his full support for the younger kvinde.
