For context, I loved this girl to promote last year's Teleton in Chile, and I'm hoping if they let her return, which they did....but not in the way I hoped for. The redesign for her is absolutely inferior in this year. I dunno, something about Esperanza's big eyes made her look very cute to me, so going for a more realistic style is nice in theory, but in practice it just looks a bit like crap. Not to fault the people behind this, but I thought it as a nitpick. Hell, there's a behind the scenes look at the 2021 campaign!

The original 2021 ad was made for people to be motivated to still participate the charity even that is Teleton during the COVID-19 pandemic, so she lifted out spirits when problems rained at our parade. Her name literally translates to hope, symbolizing that selfless act. So, hope is literally therapy.

Now, Esperanza now apparently stepped out of quarantine, gained puberty, and now is part of a new campaign "Campeones de La Solidaridad" (Champions of Solidarity), and has new members to a team, which didn't feel the same as with last year. Last year's cover of "Stand With Me" is now replaced by "We are the Champions", which I thought it wasn't too bad. Overall, these are my silly personal thoughts on an advertising campaign that's popular in Chile. To all of those in that country, I hope that you'll all be champions once the Teleton ends.
