im sorry but that's obvious,something more specific please because google can be so stupid. i have typed industrial design, mechanics etc and they give me irrelevant packing design and food stuff. a link please and books.. have compiled some pdf's and pictures but i need something specific to teaching this. thank you for trying

Honestly, it's a combination of many things..... human anatomy, animals, automotive design, industrials design, architecture, and etc. what you have searched for is relevant to mechs.
Unfortunately I have never looked at a mech book, I just combined what exists in real life like military vehicles, construction vehicles and etc.

Take a look at Scott Robertson's books.

thank you bro... i have anatomy books now by goldfinger, michael hampton, drawing in perspective, got reference pictures and im now drawing 12hrs a day.. i want to be a master and enjoy art for the rest of my life. but thanks for the many pointers, it will be my map. thanks very much again
