Recall seeing something like this done with a video game concept art and heck think for sure this reminds me of the Towers Wars game and its artwork that blew me away with its breathtaking and rich scenery.
Never looked too much into the landscape work but rest assure always envied the minds that can make them, heck its not easy for one deviant to convince themselves everything that makes up the entirety of their background from every little rock to rolling hills, wow!
Nevertheless you seem to show some uncanny skills with making the landscape very roughed out as much as your title says. That hard and bold look of the mountains and the mix of danger from the rocks bellow with the soft look of the water is most appealing indeed.
Fancy work as well seeing the way you layer on the foreground/baground mix with the way you show the many bridges that stem from the edge of each mountain cliff, very cool. As obvious it gives that human design that start already with the obvious sign of the cities in the sky.
Just as well cool idea to mix in some steam punk into the idea with the blimp as would make sense in a fantasy world where you could build up in the mountains and almost so far into the sky, very visionary and bright to definitely make you wow at its presence.
Speaking of the lighting a marvelous work on making everything feel and look so damn real. The hardness and jagged feel for the rocks bellow, the glistening white up top each of the peaks of the mountains to even the warm glow of the sun's light and how cascades over each of the cities, gorgeous work indeed! o0o
Still trying to piece how the hell anyone can get in such amazingly small and tiny detail but damn dude from almost every window to distant light blue to show the flow of the water on the surface, just incredible work here Takumer. If anything please continue the impressive art, already can't help but want this as my wallpaper on my laptop, damn!
