So I got new ink pens. I wanted to test them so I whipped this up! I hope you like it.Text:
Knight - "A pity. That was too fast..."
Crow - "You're dead."
" Finishing move!"
I'd have made it more interesting, but I only know so much japanese... >_>
PS sorry it's a little off center... when I first scanned it it came out like that, but I didn't think I'd get inking right on the first try so I went for it... and well... yeah.

That'd be awesome if I could work for jump, but they've got really high standards. I think I'll keep my pursuits smaller, although working for Jump SQ. wouldn't be so bad.

yeah theyre standerds are high, but if you tryed hard enough im sure that you could, being in Jump is my dream, ive still got a lot of a way to go though

As for awards, if you want to try, I'd suggest this [link] it's the jump treasure award. As for your future plans that's what I wanted to do when I was your age. Keep at it. You'll get good fast if you just keep drawing. lol, when I was younger I read somewhere that the best way to be good is to draw everyday. so that's what I've done (or tried to do, missed a few days) for the last maybe 5 or 6 years.

thanks, i try to draw everyday but sometimes i dont and when i do i stop for a couple days and during those days i get really sad. So i guess i cant stop drawing now that i do that. ive been drawing for about one year
also, do you use screen tones for your manga, because if you dont you should as its alot better than shading for manga pages and in all the magazines they use screentones, you can put them in by computer which is what i do

lol I'm horrible with computers. I use various pens that vary in shades of grey. although I want to get tones.

Penciling first is the way to go... the same thing I do... I cant draw with just black ink yet... although I can with a ball point pen for some reason, maybe Im to nervous to use just black ink XD.

lol Yeah it's the best way to avoid mistakes. I have tons of pages that are ruined because I didn't use pencil >_> so I've learned just to be safe when doing art.
