oh my.. i'm SO proud of this one!!from the book Brisingr, the 3rd one on the Inheritance Cycle [recomended to anyone that like the lord of the rings and dragons in general, they are just great!!]
It took me quite a while, dragons are NOT easy to paint xD
but i'm happy, i think i worked out well my lack of bacgroud for this one (H)
BRISINGR SPOILER ALERT!
It's Eragon again, but on his complete Dragon Rider state, without scars, super force and speed and of course the pointy elf ears. By his side, as always, his Dragon Saphira. And on his hands the brand new sword Brisingr [wich means fire on ancient language].

Nice sword and nice dragon, I just thought Eragon would've been taller in his post-ceremony state. I only assume he's short because his torso is kind of squished together, and is he missing his left eyebrow, or hair covering up? Oh, and immediate fave!

yeah, now that i look at it again i would change Eragon's design.. the anatomy it's a little off and he does not look as muscular as i picture him xD but i guess it's normal to find mistakes in old drawings!

that's a broad sword Eragon's was a hand-and-a-half sword and the blade would be thinner and the taper longer but all in all good job

Eragon was the book that sent me into loving fantasy books! Before that, I was one of the kids who HATED to read. Eragon changed that! So it is a veryyy special (and utterly AWESOME) book to mee!

oh, and you have no idia how much time it took me to draw him!! he just didn't look like i imagined him. And as for saphira.. well, let's just say that it's NOT easy to draw a dragon, i had to pic up my Ciruelo's artbook book to have some references xD

i don't remember. i first did the scketch like i could, but then i re draw it completely with my tablet... that took a few hours i think, saphira's skin was quite difficult. and then a lot more with the colors. i'm not really sure, i use to loose track of time while i'm drawing ^^u

it might sound silly, but what hunts me the most are the base colors!
i don't have that much trouble with the shadows and lights [unless we are talking about fire water or dirt TT] but i spent YEARS looking for the perfect colors to use U.u

yeah i've got that with clothes, never know what colour ore what to let them wear+ i always find the highlights of the hair the most difficult thing

oh, i LOVE to disign clothes and characters, and i use to make an OC of each serie i watch xD the thing i have is with colors only.. they hate meee!! xDDDDD
