I told you you weren't ready for this. Or at least, I wasn't.Yes ladies and gentlemen who actually pay attention to my gallery... it is one HELL of an overhaul ain't it?
(You'll also have to forgive the horrible watermarks. but I had no choice, I want this piece protected ya see?)
This sweet little number is a project from my advanced life drawing class. It had to have two cyborgs interacting and feature foreground middle ground and background. Believe it or not it's all there.
This took 2 hours to get the poses down, another 4-6 hours sketching, around 3 hours inking, and over 10 hours coloring. All in all? It consumed my life for awhile (and I ignored my brand new Wii to make sure it was done on time even!)
Incase people can't tell (or are looking for the first time) these are two of my OC's, Tal (on the right) and Nao (on the left)
I thought it'd be nice to capture the very final battle between them. granted, in the actual battle they're not cyborgs, but it's cool anyways.
Anywho, for the love of god, PLEASE comment... I need praise after this much BS...

Like I said in class. This is incredible. You really outdid yourself with this one and go ahead and gloat. You deserve it.
I understand the water marks completely because if mine had come out this good, I'd have done the same thing. Protection is a must.
I already said this is incredible right? Love the poses! The action in this is great and a fantastic use of color! Plus the lines are totally kick butt. You rock! This has now been faved ^_^.

It's totally Tal and Nao if they were Cyborgs. I thought it looked like Nao and Tal before I even read the description.
It's really great though. The colors, shading, lighting are just awesome. I can believe it took some time!

A mechanical pencil, several sizes of micron pens, a sharpie, 14x17 sketch paper and tracing paper, and Photoshop. That's everything it took to make the damn thing.
And yea, I was wondering why you hadn't commented, lol. it's ok tho.
I'm really happy cause it gets to go up on the wall at school so I'm super pumped. My teacher even gave me permission to be ridiculously proud of it. and I am. it's a beaut. there's still some things I coulda done better, and thats good. I'd be worried if there was NOTHING wrong with it.
In anycase, I'm excited people could recognize em. now, you guys can wait for my winged creature project. You know its gonna be Tal :3
