You let go of Kiku and blinked for a moment before you realized what you just did. You kissed Kiku without his permission! You just grabbed him!

Your face lit up bright red and you stammered an apology while you gathered your things and fled. You didn't dare look at your friends face as you rushed out of the library and headed home. When you finally got home you hid yourself in your room and buried your still warm face in your pillow. It felt like you were on the verge of tears.

'What have I done?!' you thought to yourself. 'Not only did I just lose any chance of having Kiku as a boyfriend, I probably just lost him as a friend too!'

You didn't even want to imagine how disgusted he must be with you now. He hates touching and public displays of affection and then you go an kiss him in the middle of the library! You just couldn't believe yourself. You lost all control over your emotions. Kiku would never let that happen, he was always so calm and collected.

How were you going to face him at school tomorrow. You panicked at the thought. There was no way! you had to skip. You had to convince your parents to let you stay home. You didn't like to play sick, but if you went to school tomorrow there was no doubt that you actually would be sick.

There was a small knock on the door. "_____ are you okay?" Your mom called through the door.

'Perfect!' you thought 'Time to put my plan in motion.' You lowered your voice and moaned out an "I don't know..."

Your Mom came into the room, looking concerned, and sat on the edge of your bed. "What's wrong?"

"I feel sick to my stomach." You only half lied, your stomach definitely felt sick but not because of any cold.

"You do look kind of flushed..." she noted from your still pink cheeks. You were so relived that she was actually buying it. You nodded, trying to look as sick as possible. "Why don't you do to sleep now?" she said, patting your head "Maybe you will feel better in the morning."

"Hopefully..." you added as she walked through the door and left. You changed into your favorite pajamas and went to bed. "There's no way I'm going to school tomorrow." you mumbled as you got comfortable.

*TIME SKIP*

In the morning it only took a few moans and some stumbling to get ready for school to convince your mom that you should stay home. You were blissfully still in bed when your parents left for work.

You got up a few minutes after they left and went to sit in the living room. You blankly stared at the T.V and tried not to think of Kiku. The harder you tried, however, the more he came up so you just let go. Your thoughts wandered to all possible thoughts of the Japanese man until you felt entirely numb.

You were lying there, completely emotionless, when you heard a knock of the front door. You walked over to answer it but lost all ability to speak when you opened the door to find Kiku standing there.
