Theme 22 of 100 and final piece of the Element Special.
If you get the expression that this pic really took time to get done, bloody hell, you are right about this. It took forever to get done, but for good reason.
With "Time" as the last of my Element-Special of my 100 themes, I had something very special in mind. (Ok, some of you may say that time is actually no element, but this is only partly right. Some mythologies ,indeed, consider time as an element and this is my personal opinion as well.)
Since you can not grab time as a physical thing, but only represent it, I have choosen the clock as a way of showing the element of time.
In fact, you can find many things in here which really represent time as a flow (past, present and future), but also many objects which a deeper sense behind the actually thing, yet always in the context of time.
Btw.
The seven spheres in front of Shadow also have something to do with time. Like to guess?
It's hard though, so I will also tell you if you don't know ^^.All in all, this pic turned out very good for my standarts in art and I must say, that I was really surprised how good it turned out. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did when I made it. Have fun with it! ^^

Ok, first off, I love his expression. It's the mystical look he and Sonic always got when they're going to use the Chaos Emeralds to go super.
Second, gotta love the clock. Dang, that must've taken a long time to do right.
And the silhouettes of Maria in the bg is a nice touch.
And the hourglass is cool too!

thank you ^^ Yup took a while to get it done, but I still like it as one of my best so far ^^. As for the clock... yeah, that turned out very good indeed. Actually I only had this one idea and wanted to try it without any connection to this picture yet at this point. After I was finished with the clock, I liked it so much that I wanted it to be in this work

What do the seven orbs mean? Cause i have no idea.

The seven orbs represents a very old wisdom (or saying, I'm not sure) we have here in Germany (it's so old, many people do not know about it anymore). In this people believe that a human is changing every seven years in his/her life.
An in fact, that's also true if you think about it: the first seven years of our life are full with play and exploring, with 7 you are in school, with 14 you start to become a teenager, with 21 you are considered a grown-up and so on.
Of course this "calculation" is based on the old times and not up-to-date anymore, but it is an interesting thing to me.
Welll, and since change in something that also represents "Time" is was perfect to use in this picture ^^

The clock has a lot of good details in it.
The bubbles have wonderful gradients in them.
Love the gradients on shadow as well. The shadow of Maria in the back I didnt notice till a bit after staring at it which is cool.
