Theme 10 of 100let's face it, the title says it all. It's all about touching, being touched and the feelings which can caused by it.
When I started the picture, first I wanted to draw two pair of hands only touching each other, but I didn't like the way it turned out, so I changed it to this

Beautiful, I don't see any problem at all with the lovely wonderful passionate pictures with Shadow and Maria because to me Shadow and Maria make a cute couple even if she is human and he is a hedgehog, I bet if she was still alive he would be with her since she is the only one he truly cares about.

Hey Tal it me. I wanted to take a look at this perfect and beautiful piece.
The most obvious is Shadow with his arms round Maria. Feeling her next to him. The few starnds of hair between his fingers seems to show that he wants Maria to feel how a woman showed be loved. Holding her close to enjoy her comfort and security. He has aplacid look on his face which means his heart and soul have been touched in a way we can only guess. The blanket around him I guess shows that he wants to enjoy Maria in a place that feels safe and secure. And also what you did that is REALLY clever is how you get the picture to reach out and touch the viewer. Very clever and very well done. A fave from me.

yeah... touching can mean a few things at the same time: it can mean the actual touch and the "inner touch", the emotional, mental touch. Both of these elements are bound into each other and brought together in this work

And they come together so beautifully that they go beyond the screen/paper and into the real world. Th touch the hearts and minds of those that see this. When art touches people beyond what they see and stir up some emotions, that is the sign of a beautiful piece like this.

Well, I write fics myself as I believe my art isn'ty in the pen but in the written word. But your right. When you see something you can feel it as well.

I have virtually given up on a few occasions. Since I can only write new I struggle with bits of meaningful art. But I guess stories are art in themselves. How I wish I could do the same with a pen huh?
