all right, total fangirl moment here, but I fianlly did it! I managed to manipulate a picture of Jareth the Goblin King from Labyrinth with myself!right, so it may not be absolutely perfect, but this was by FAR one of the hardest photo manips I EVER done. Firstly, all picture qualities on the internet of Jareth suck royally. So then I had to figure out how to snag a movie still. Then I had to figure out the noise/pattern differences between a movie still and a digital camera shot. Then blend the two together.
BUT I am ever so happy ::breaks out in a little magic dance all her own::

didn't make me feel bad- goodness! no it took me several hours to do. it is my first photo-manip that involved pictures from two differen't sources.

That is really quite amazing...maybe it'd look slightly more realistic if the shadow on your face was a little more diffused? I don't know...but I do think it's rather great, and definitely a good fan memento.

that shadow drove me nuts!
I'm completely self taught, so blending these images together was like teaching myself three-five things in one 2+ hour sitting. But I do know what you mean, that shadow is a little intense.

limited pictures of Jareth- indeed taht's why I ended having to do a screen grab. which was actually me playing the movie on my computer and then using my digital camera to snap pictures.

I'm quite respectful at concerts- no shoving, squealing, or blocking, and most importantly just stay out of my way.
Seen Bowie twice- actually helped a young 7 year old girl see him better at one point. "Days" was her fave song- she was standing behind me when the song started. Her mother politely tapped me on the shoulder and said, "Can she come up there with you for this song? It's her favorite!" Had to oblige!

he was amazing- literally blew my socks and brought me to tears several times. the 2nd time was in California where I got to hear The Supermen from The Man Who Sold the World. aww, it was ragged and naive- it was heaven.
