Description
This is a girl in the U.S. Army(as you can see from the band on her right arm). She is clutching her necklace and saying her last silent prayer as she is about to go into the poorly drawn war scene behind her. Around her waist is a bandage covering a bullet wound(she should probably have more blood seeping, but I'll do that later). She has a knife wound on her cheek that's dripping blood onto her shirt. She also has various scratches and cuts. So yeah. I just woke up one morning, grabbed a paper and pencil and drew this. It's simple, but I like it. (Oh and in her left hand is a gun. But the underside of a Desert Eagle is very simple)Breathe was the only thing I told myself as I stood, about to turn the corner. My blood was pumping hard through my veins, which just made my wounds bleed more.
The bullet wedged in my side stung and I knew it was a mortal wound. I shouldn’t even have been standing, but my adrenaline and perseverance kept me on my feet. They would not let me fail my team now, nor my country.
Lord, let my death today help. Let it go to some use. Do not let this battle be rage or my body taken in vain! I cried out with my final prayer.
That’s when I opened my eyes. I took my hand off my cross necklace and grabbed my gun with it. I reloaded and cocked the desert eagle. My machine gun was useless. I had no bullets left, so I had dropped it five feet back.
This would be my last stand for justice. My last stand for my country.
I ran around the corner and started to fire. The deafening sounds of guns, I did not hear. My whole force went into that gun. I became it. Bullets hit me, I was out in the open. But for every bullet that hit me I fired a round back.
Then the moment came when my rounds were gone. There was not one bullet left. That’s when I started to hear again. I heard the screams of dying women and men and I heard that last shot, the shot that hit me in the center of the chest.
My body dropped to the ground, dead. And I saw the light of heaven.
