Module are a playable race featured in the Tales of Arcana® setting.

Modules are mechanized beings native to Emporium, a level of the higher realm of the Mechanoscape, where prototypes for all technology past and present are stored. Modules protect these devices so they can be accessed when the correct time has come. People across the world build modules, believing they are creating unique inventions but actually allowing them to enter the Mortal Plane.
