Oh absolutely. And he was the most comic book accurate compared to the comics of his time. Adam West WAS the silver age Batman come to life. Not to mention his dry humor in the delivery of those lines. People who knock his performance don't really understand it. That was 1966. That was before Frank Miller and Alan Moore.
