Description
It's been forever since I actually drew a cover for one of my own fics, and I really wanted to give Aqua's dark suit design a revamp. (If by a revamp I mean "making it exactly the same but drawing it better" *sweatdrop*) Plus, I've been dying to draw Drizzle ever since I started this story, so yay
As much as I love Vanitas, I finally understand why a lot of people might not draw him. The shading on Aqua's suit literally took me /at least/ five hours. orz I think it turned out well enough to be worth it, but daaaang, it's going to be a while before I can draw her or Vani again. x'D
Riku's pants were also kind of awful, but just because I didn't have a good shade to use, so I had to layer a few different colors in a way I don't normally do. This was my first time drawing Riku in an outfit that's not his black coat, I realized. His hair gave me more trouble than usual for some reason; I think it looks better when he's wearing black, the silver on top of all the white and yellow kind of washes him out. He's eating a Shield Cookie here, if it's too small to tell. ^^
Aaaaand Lea is Lea. xD His hair is a pain as usual, but a fun pain xP I was happily surprised at how his facial expression came out here, because I feel like I usually end up making him look creepy. x'D
