Description Just testing out an out fit, appropriately called Gothic Girl for G3F.
The outfit is nice, but it might kill your gpu! It took a lot of memory just render this basic 1200x2000 pixel image! Yikes! My 2gb card didn't even run.
So as cute as this is, I don't think I have enough of a machine to use it. I might use just the boots with a different outfit, those are fab!

Marie is 18!

This looks fantastic and very sexy with the bra showing a tiny bit.

A tiny bit indeed...

The outfit works nicely!

Edit: Β I'm using those awesome boots myself - just with all the straps and stuff turned off - on Tanango! Β They're really solid boots!

This is awesome! I love how she has the cute lacy little bra to hold onto her...nothing. Sexy!

Thanks!

That corset is drawn pretty tight!

WOW!!!Β  That's a lot of detail.Β  Incredible!!!

It looks like the tight fishnet weave and the detail of lace along the top of her stockings, accuracy of her diaphanous under-skirt, and right glove and left arm sleeve, might have required each strand to be accurately computed.

It must have generated enough heat from your GPU, Vram, CPU, and Ram to fry eggs for breakfast.

Beautiful image.Β  In spite of the work Marie is gorgeous.

Faved

Thank you! Β

There were a lot pieces to this outfit, and lots of textures. Textures can eat ram more than anything.
Thankfully I have an aggressive fan curve set up in a well ventilated case, so my cards stay under 60C the whole time. I don't use the CPU at all for rendering, though it does crank a bit to drive the GPUs during renders. But this outfit certainly eats ram for breakfast! And then asks for more! I was a just shy of getting stuck in CPU only mode, and I'd probably still be rendering this if that happened.

60C???

I was right ... you really could fry eggs in there ... if you could construct a smooth surface on your cards to keep them clean.

Each time I read more information about the hardware requirements for my ultimate Daz3D machine ... I'm more convinced I might need to cut off one arm and sell it.Β  That would make using the keyboard a lot more difficult, so I'll just save my lunch money.

60C is pretty comfy for GPUs. That's nothing to worry about. Most can safely go well above 80C before heat becomes a factor. Since Daz will run cards at 100% for potentially hours at a time, the lower the better for the life of the card. So keeping them under 70C is advisable. Plus many GPUs will throttle if they go above 70C or so, dropping performance.

I don't have any expensive cooling system, its all air. My CPU has a $30 cooler. My case already had a lot of fans. That's the extent of my cooling budget.

From past computer service experience ... with all those fans I hope your machine is NOT sitting on the floor.Β  Best way to clog it with dust.

One of the worst things I've ever seen is a tight collection of dust between a cooling fan and the aluminum heat sink for the CPU or any other heat-sensitive chip.Β  I've spent more than my fair share of time pulling out little "dust muffins" that prevented any air from cooling an overheated and burned up chip.Β  Poor thing never had a chance after a while.

Water cooling might be great for that much heat, but it's a step well above the average user's budget.Β  Seen some interesting mods online to accomplish it, but only recommended for those who aren't afraid of replacing expensive hardware if something leaks.

Geez ... the more I learn ... the less confident I am about this next major Daz3D machine unless I want and am willing to spend a couple grand.Β

Mine's actually pretty high off the floor. It does get dusty sometimes, so every few months I'll take a can of air on it. Done.
I got about 6 fans in mine.
With how energy efficient new GPUs are, its not really a worry like it might have been before. There are still very high end cards that will suck down electricity, but something like the 1070 is only 150 Watt TDP. No water needed, and with my temps under 60C at max load, I don't need it on mine, either. I don't have a 1070, but I think it is a winner at Daz.
