Description i've decided to do another nice bit of simple paleoart.
nothing too dramatic or anything....

basically it's Just a nice peaceful scene of parasaurophlus females browsing on the lovely vegetation of the flood-plains.
----------------

Diet: herbivore (mostly a browser, though may have on occasion rear u to nibble at some leaves)
Era: late Cretaceous (specially the campanian era, around 83.6-72 million years ago)
Size: 7-10 metres in length and 3.7-4.9 m in height.
Weight: roughly 3-6 metric tons at least
Habitat: floodplains that became more swampy and influenced by marine conditions over time as the Western Interior Seaway transgressed westward.
Fossil's Locations: texas, albeta canada etc
Discovered by: Dr. William A. Parks in 1922
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
one major speculation I did with this picture was the large amounts of body fat on these hadrosaurs.
inspired by how much fat tends to be on animals in their niche.
as alan grant said: "imagine them like really big cows"

I hope you like it

Is there any evidence that hadrosaurs had very thick necks?

not directly but there's nothing to really say that some didn't.
besides I was basically taking notes from all yesterdays, as they suggest that we may be drawing our dinosaurs too skinny,

They kinda look like they ate way too much greens (I'm not complaining though)Β

I do like the colors and their natural environment is a swamp which is what I always imagined where Parasaurolophus would mostly live.

well for them, that's a good thing, to store a LOT of fat reserves in preparation for times of hardship.

understand?

That is true, It's much easier for me to draw Dinosaurs fat because skinny dinosaurs are harder to draw then they look
