Description
This is for 's newest spec challenge: reconstructing a creature from an alien fossil.
I had envision a large, reptilian creature with a three-sided jaw, two legs and four eyes that has a diet for Aquatic animals.

It would have patrolled the planet's rivers and streams, hunting small fish-like organisms by using the three sets of fangs to crush it's prey, before then swallowing them whole.
But despite all this, it was very susceptible to infection from creatures like the "cone-parasite", with must have bored into it's skin and producing nasty, crusty rashes.

Many Scientists are puzzled how a land-dwelling creature, could have ended up on the sea floor, near the shallows....
One possible theory, is that perhaps this creature died from the parasites draining it's blood and simply got washed down-stream, until it came to rest within the shallows by the sea.

And as for The fossil's poor condition, it is likely due to the influence of local scavengers....however, we can't say for sure until more evidence comes to light...
