Description
Well, I'm still trying to get this new 3D Apophysis down... At any rate, I believe that this one turned out okay. It made me think of a meteor for some reason, but what you see is what you seeAlso, the other reason I made and uploaded this was because my Monk side reminded me that my Deviations numbered at 59, just one away from an even-numbered 60... Which turned out to be wrong because I later went and scrapped an older piece. Oh well...

Very cool
I also have all my 3Ds monochromatic, and I can't seem to get them in different colors
Got any tips?

Yes, just a second *sneaks upstairs to where the fractaling computer is* *sneaks back down after clicking random tabs in Apophysis*
Okay, what I do is go to the colors tab in the editor window and play with the slider there, or I go to the transform tab and play with the weight. I think... A fractal is rendering right now (has been for the last 4 hours, and will for the next 1:15:something ) so I can't give any good description.
And yes, I really did sneak upstairs lol.

Thank you Yeah, the Mac barrier can be a little annoying sometimes... But then, you could be like Aexion and create your own code lol (I wish I could do even half of the stuff he does... I'd even go for 1/80

That the sad part (for people like me who can't code...) he uses his own code... So, it could be anything from C# or Python, to some crazy completely new homebrew language... definite props to him
Thanks for the praise, I like my stuff too or at least certain aspects of it, but some people are just quite simply amazing. The stuff they do is just crazy over-my-head type stuff. That why I watch them ^_^

I hope that one person who was trying to make Apophysis for Mac available does it soon! I want to make art like that!! AND...it would make GREAT abstract backgrounds!!

Indeed, and then I'd have three computers on which to do fractals on!
Although, the Mac I use is a school one and it's only an iBook G4... 1.2 GHz processor, 256 MB of RAM, and a 27.82 GB hard drive. And without Admin abilities, I can't restore permissions, defrag the hard drive, or install anything the has to go into the Applications folder. And I don't have the X11 runtime thing, so that also cuts out some things I want
Okay, end of rant lol.

hehe...LOL I have a Mac...I DO have a PC...but I'm selling it to my dad, who's going to sell his to my friend, who needs one for writing.
hehe! Mac's are cool...but a lot of programs aren't compatible with them...
hehe! Mine's more for art, but I do everything else, like surf the net, deviantArt, rpg's in my forums, etc. LOL! but this thing cost me a LOT!!...and the costs aren't done yet!
I still need to get a new printer and scanner for this sucker! LOL! So...now I have to return the printer I bought (which ended up being only PC compatible)...and THEN buy a scanner, to get my art in...
ACK! Oh well...at least I have a job...
btw, did you want to do an art trade? You do a nice fractal art for me...and I do a picture for you?

lol, I don't mind Macs too much (just the whole one mouse button can get me a little sometimes...), I just prefer PC's cause I like the file system better... and I know my way around Although the newer Macs are actually pretty cool; the yearbook class has one and I mess around on it sometimes since it has the Creative Suites on it.
As for the art trade, it sounds like a neat idea. Note me to the details of how exactly it works (cause this comment string is getting long lol)
