...I have no idea what punctured the hole on its chest that causes the bleeding....
..I went back there...a few weeks later...the people told me that the Dog was rounded up by the municipal Dog Catchers.. ......and nobody saw the cat.....though there were conflicting sightings ....

I feel like crying every time I see this. But it's still amazingly beautiful, with the message it carries with it. Animals pass no judgement, no criticism; they just offer unconditional loyalty and comfort to those who need it.

Ohmygosh, that is so cute! In the roleplays I am in (collaborative writing site where you play a character) I have quite a few relationships with others that remind me of this.
One for right now is this character who sold his soul so he could join a band that is owned by the Devil and so he isn't supposed to feel love, but does anyway because he is not totally a demon yet, and he falls in love with someone but it hurts him to love.. so he has to use drugs and such to keep from dying of pain. It's very complicated, but the whole time he takes care of the one he is in love with against the Devil's wishes.

Firstly, I am proud of your involvement ...and I feel happy for you.....I like the story...profound and contemporary...a complex character to get into.
However, it does open up many questions...is he addicted to drug or love....or is love the catalyst...if love pains him does hate frees him...and if he is free from pain is he free from drugs..and so on and so forth....

He is not addicted to love NOR the drug. Forgot to mention that he cannot get addicted because that's kind of like his special demon power. Drugs don't hurt him at all, actually.
Hate, alas, does free him. That comes with being a demon. He is a slave of Satan, even if not all the way, but it's still quite potent. I got answers to further questions, so ask away.

If hatred frees him......love entwined him..there are two powerful opposing force brewing inside him.......chewing away every moral fabric...what is left oh him?
He is a person trapped in the vat of contradiction waiting to implode upon the weight of his own follies....am I right?..Ellie

Yes. Except it won't implode, unless he stops using drugs. His contradictions are currently balanced. What will make things implode is that.. he is supposed to turn the one he loves to a demon as punishment for stepping up and saying that he will never let the change happen.

Now that the contradictions from within compromised, he is consume with the principles from without which a betrayal would be self annihilation as oppose to his desire to subserve his wants in short the contradictory principle as a man in person to seek a middle road to a solution that is unavoidably a sacrificial self immolation, so to speak.
