Hmmm.......equating Hitler with Che. Interesting knowledge of history you are demonstrating. Is it Che's genocidal activities that are in line with Hitler's, or perhaps his desire to conquer and subjugate vast areas of the globe or is it Che's belief in a "master race" that's in line with Adolf's......or maybe it''s just the fact they both have moustaches you are referring to?

Very interesting that you equate Che with Hitler purely on the grounds that they were both responsible for killing people. Why didn't you choose someone like Richard Nixon or General Pinochet? The issue here is not Che, the issue here is Hitler whom you have chosen as the closest historical figure to equate to Che (the validity of which I need not go into as your ignorance and bigotry is on display for the world to see). As for reading, I have read more than you can imagine on the subject and Che's record on killing is not in dispute. You are clearly a right wing zealot which for a normal thinking person is very hard to comprehend, it's something I can only attribute to ignorance, lack of education or product of a closed none functioning mind. I'm actually more amazed by how the image was put together with all the stones. It must've taken quite some time to find all the right rocks, planning, and time to put it together.

I am a man of many talents but I'm afraid creating mosaics is not one of them. I only took the photograph. It was really just a way of starting off my new series on Cuba, there cannot be a more iconic image than this one.

'a legend of the people'?? i hate to disavow you of a romantic image, but che was nothing more than a brutal mass murderer. that his is the iconic face of castro's revolution is, in a twisted way, appropriate, but let's not confuse that with the romantic notion that he was a man of the people.

he may or may not have been i simply don't know (but I'll do some research), but that is not really germane to my point. if his 'predecessor' was an evil skunk does not mean that he gets a pass. there are absolutes. cold-blooded murderers, of any political side, should be equally reviled. so, whether batista was a slime is, at least as far as this discussion goes, irrelevant. che was a psycho and those who would lionize him should at least be aware of what he was - and wasn't. and he wasn't a romantic 'adventurer,' 'man-of-the-people' hero. he was a malevolent, cold-blooded, amoral murderer - and that stands regardless of who, or what, preceded him.
