Ah, the day of the Endurance test.... Carad and Ziyel had prepared long and hard, but
both were... unsure. Truth being told, Caradhras was just a little over his proper weight,
and she... she had never ridden for more than six hours straight. But now, both cinta and
rider would prove their strength, bond, and loyalty by riding together not for hours, but
for days, with not but a few hours rest betwixt.

It was indeed a tall order... one Ziyel Jumani was certain they could fulfill. All the same,
she called a few friends with a request that, should something happen, would they
remain nearby?

Aerin Savago, owner of a smaller, but very intelligent, Hydruga, sent Yang, the beautiful
white seal-dragon, to watch over the pair from afar... and to leave for help should either
of the two should collapse.

Two others were there as well. A tokota named Nuka... who happened to have a Drow
rider. A dangerous people, the drow.... dark elves. A friend of Aerin's, one by the name
of Wren, had sent him.... Maedhros was his name. And not only was he a drow, but
apparently he was some sort of prince as well... most certainly an intimidating figure.
But the man was friendly, and Carad didn't seem to mind him... that was enough for
Ziyel. They would accompany her for as long as they could.

The other was a cinta-rider by the name of Thomas Chandler of the Mischief Wranglers.
His mount was called Casper, a beautiful creature. They would not ride for long, just to
see her off... but nonetheless, Ziyel was grateful for the send-off.

She was, for all intents and purposes, new here. It would be good to have friends in
many places.

But the white-haired lass (an odd mutation... born with white hair, she was) did not have
much more time to think, for the whistle sounded, and Caradhras was off.... not as
speedily as a Plains would, but with a steady stride that would not flag, fade, nor falter
for many, many long hours.
