Hmm... So many PS platformer heroes have a partner. I’m seeing a pattern here... ANYWAY! Here’s another PS platformer classic! That... I never played. :’D But I still dig the characters and the games look nice. And they just had a movie too! Too bad I didn’t hear too good reviews of the movie... But I’ll surely check it when/if Finland gets it on DVD/BluRay

Probably because they still wanted people to go see the movie which makes sense. You can't cram the whole movie into the game, just the scenes that would compliment the game play. So I can understand why some people would rather play the game because you get some parts of the movie on top of experiencing the action for yourself, but I still think it wouldn't hurt to experience both if you're able.

Main thing I heard is that it's like watching the game cut scenes, without the game. So you're better off with getting the game.
But I don't have PS4 so I'm more than happy to check the movie if we get it

That's not R.O.B XD That's Clank!! If you ever get the time to play the games you should TamarinFrog You will love the slight adult humor and the way they turn the 3-D platforming into a fps without it being bad. The story is great to but don't watch the movie. If you haven't played the games (or at least "Tools of Destruction") you won't get the movie, and that is why the reviews weren't so great.

Oohh you really should play the games if you can! xD I pre ordered the game & played it for a while (rrhg homework xD), haven't watched the film yet (but to me it seems like a compilation of all the cutscenes at this moment lol) and the game looks amazing with all the new rendering techniques.

The main complaint that I've been hearing about the movie is that it's just the game's cutscenes without the gameplay; it's probably fine for someone who's never played any of the games (or someone like me who can't justify getting a PS4 just to play the new Ratchet & Clank), but it's pretty clear that the game is the definitive experience.

I didn't grow up with Ratchet and Clank either but I so always loved the characters themselves, watching friends play them and hearing them speak ^^
The movie was ok, nothin to brag about but it was kinda average. Still worth a look if your a fan.

WHat you didn't hear good things about the movie? It was soooooooo good. And the new game is good too, although some of the cut scenes dont make complete sense as the use some movie scenes and not other.

I just heard that the movie is not bad... But it's not better than the game. The movie is apparently like watching the cut scenes from the game (apparently the animation and quality is not much better from the games) So, you are better just buying the game. Because then you also get to play.

I have yet to see anything bad about this franchise. Despite the critics reviews, the only problem I had with the movie was I wanted it to be longer.

I has some interesting in playing Ratchet & Clank, but the chance never appeared to me.
I saw the movie and it's...pretty silly. I mean, the jokes are all too childish, but it's pretty good for a tribute of the series.
If you have nothing better to do, I recommend to watch it, but don't expect big things.
